Cookie Policy

Be advised that this website (the "Website") is owned by Parques Reunidos Servicios Centrales, S.A., who authorises its subsidiary company Leisure Parks, S.A. to use it (hereinafter, both will be jointly referred to as the "Controllers" or the "Publishers").

This Website uses its own and third party cookies and similar technologies (HTTP Cookies, Pixel Tracker and Local Shared) that store and retrieve information from users when they browse the site for the purposes indicated in the section "Cookies and similar technologies used by the website".

However, in compliance with the principle of proactive responsibility, the Controllers declare that no personal data is collected or transferred through this Website without first providing the necessary legal information and obtaining the express consent of the users in the cases in which it is necessary.

You will also find information about the processing of data collected by means of cookies and other similar technologies on this Website in this Cookie Policy.

What are Cookies?

Cookies or similar technologies (local shared objects, flash cookies, web beacons, bugs, etc.) are small files created by the websites visited by users that are downloaded to the devices (computers, mobiles, tablets, etc.) or users' browsers in order to store and retrieve certain information from them (e.g., browsing habits or information about their devices and browsers).

What types of Cookies are there?

The following are identified by way of illustration of, but not limited to, the different types of cookies that may exist based on the following classification criteria.

According to the entity that manages the equipment or domain from which the cookies are sent and treats the information obtained through the same, we can differentiate between:

  • Own cookies: are those that are sent to the user's device or browser from a computer or domain managed by the controllers of a website or application and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
  • Third-party cookies: are those that are sent to the user's device or browser from a computer or domain that is not managed by the controllers of a website or application, but by another entity that processes the information obtained through said cookies or similar technologies.

If these cookies are sent from a computer or domain managed by the  controllers of the website or application, but the information collected through the same is managed by a third party,  these types of cookies will not be considered as own cookies as long as they are used by the third party for its own purposes (for example, improving the services it provides or providing advertising services for another company).

According to how long they remain activated on users' devices and browsers

  • Session cookies: Session cookies are those designed to collect and store information while users access an application or website . They are usually used to store information that is only of interest for providing a service requested by the user on a single occasion and are deleted at the end of the session (for example, when the browser is closed and the visit ends).
  • Persistent cookies: are those that allow information to be stored in the user's device or browser even when the session has ended, allowing access and processing of this information during a subsequent period defined by the cookie's controller. This period can range from a few minutes to several years, unless the user deletes them manually.

According to the intended purpose of cookie, these can be:

  • Technical and strictly required cookies: are those that allow the user to navigate through an application or  website and use the various options or services that exist in them, including those that  are  used  to enable the management and operation of the website or application and  enable its functions and services, such as, for example, controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing parts with restricted access, remembering the elements that make up the products or services, carrying out the process of purchasing a product or service, managing the payment thereof, controlling fraud linked to the security of the service, applying for registration or participation in an event, counting visits for the purpose of invoicing for software licences related to the service (website, platform or application), using security features while browsing, storing content for broadcasting video or sound, enabling dynamic content (for example, animation loading a text or image) or sharing content through social networks. Also belonging to this category, due to their technical nature, are those cookies that allow advertising spaces to be managed as efficiently as possible, as another element of the design or "layout" of the service offered to the user, which have been included on a website or application, based on criteria such as the edited content, without collecting information from users for other purposes, such as personalising that advertising content or other content.
  • Preference or personalisation cookies:  are those that allow information to be remembered so that the user accesses a website or application with certain characteristics that can differentiate their experience from that of other users, such as, for example, language, the number of results displayed when the user performs a search, the appearance or content of the website or application  based on the type of browser through which the user accesses or the region from which they access, etc.
  • Analysis or measurement cookies: are those that allow the tracking and analysis of the behaviour of users who visit a website or application, including quantifying the impact of advertisements. The information collected through these types of cookies is used to measure the activity on websites or applications, with the aim of introducing improvements based on an analysis of the usage data provided by users.
  • Behavioural advertising cookies: are those that store information on user behaviour obtained through the continuous observation of their browsing habits to effectively manage and display advertising spaces that are embedded in websites or applications, which allow the development of a specific profile to show advertising based on them.

It should be noted that these types of cookies are offered to users for illustrative purposes to facilitate their understanding of the most common cookies and similar technologies.

In any case, details of the cookies and similar technologies that may be installed in the device or browser of users who access and browse this website are detailed below in the section "Details of cookies and similar technologies".
