The Exotic Birds Presentation from Selwo Marina offers an exhibition of the majestic flight of species from one of the most legendary and striking territories of South America: the Amazon.
This rustic setting has an exhibition area with seats that looks like a lost place found in any corner of the Brazilian or Venezuelan jungle. The Exotic Birds Presentation at La Hondonada provides the visitor with the opportunity to see the magnificent flights of different and colourful exotic birds such as the red and green macaw, the military macaw, the blue-yellow macaw or the surprising toco toucan, as well as discover the yellow armadillo, a surprising South American mammal.
A solid wood gateway similar to those used to cross the many rivers of the heart of South America, takes visitors to other interesting areas of the park: on the upper level part is the Los Trópicos aviary, a refreshing space with also species as the white-faced saki or the green iguana. Underneath, children can play in a children’s playground that simulates a small jungle with different level platforms and a “swing-hut” where the pusher has just as much fun as the child being pushed! While the children have fun and feel like the kings of this jungle, the parents can make a wellcome stop on the expedition to enjoy a refreshment or an ice-cream at the Cabaña de Las Delicias, catering outlet located next to this area.
